      Creating and completing a Master Inspection Record (MIR)

      Steps

      1. Login to FOSTER
      2. Navigate to the Inspections module
      3. Click on New Document to create Master Inspection record
      4. Setup the Master Inspection Record (click here for more guidance)
      5. Route Master Inspection Record (MIR) to Inspection Phase
      6. Create Individual Lab Analysis records (ILAs)
      7. Complete the ILA and enter test results
      8. Route ILA for review and approval
      9. Add any visual inspection non-conformities to the MIR (click here for more guidance)
      10. When all lab analysis records have been approved by WFP
        1. Attach Final Inspection Reports to Master Inspection record (click here for more guidance)
        2. Route Master Inspection record to Evaluation phase

      Create a new Master Inspection Record (MIR) document

      Add information to the following sections under the Master inspection record

      • PO Information
      • Food Specification Details

      Setup the Master Inspection Record
