- Open the current, live version of the specification you would like to request a change to
- Click “Open Change Request Log” in the top-left corner of the window
- If the request log has not been created by the owner yet - You will receive a blue notice message, saying that a request to the owner to create the log has been sent
- If the request log is already created – the log will open
- Next you can add and save your requested changes
- Describe the changes that are needed in the next revision
- Select the Urgency of the request
- Select the Relevant Section of the specification (e.g. Standards)
- Add the business justification and references (if required)
- In the case of high-urgency requests, you must also define a due date for this update to be made
- If someone other than you originated the request then select the name in the Originator field
- Click 'Save' at the top of the document, this will submit the request
- To submit a new request, follow steps 1-5 again
