A food specification can be linked to one or more packaging specifications, which describe the packaging in which the food product will be packaged. The Link to Packaging Specification section is used to:
- Link the Packaging Specification to the Food Specification in FOSTER
- Return the GoDocs document access link for any linked packaging specifications published in GoDocs
Packaging Specification Link
- Used to select and link a FOSTER packaging specification to the food specification
- Link a specification by:
- Click "Pick from View"
- Search the Specification Name using the search field
- Select the specification, by clicking on it
- Click "OK" to create the link
When a packaging specification is selected and linked, its Name and GoDocs URL will appear in the sub-form.
These links will be published to the final specification document (Word/PDF).
The system allows the inclusion of a maximum of 3 packaging specifications.
